Hello, my name is Saber

A little bit about me..

Saber is a very mellow, 14 yr old girl looking for a loving forever home having being found as a stray.

Saber is the most loving affectionate little cat, she adores people and attention. As soon as she hears a voice she comes running to see greet you. We are sure in a loving home she will be the perfect companion, possibly a lap cat, certainly someone who loves to snuggle up with you on a sofa in front of an TV for an evenings viewings.

Saber is a calm girl, she takes everything in her stride and seems to adapt well to change, its a possibility she would even share her new home with another cat.

Saber is looking for a loving family to offer her the perfect place to live out the rest of her years in tranquillity. She would be fine living with kids, though at her stage in life she won't want too much hassle from young-uns. She must have a garden to potter about in when the mood takes her.

Saber has had all her teeth removed due to sever gingivitis, this shouldn't pose a threat in the future now that she has no teeth left. She can eat both dry food and pouches as easily as a cat with teeth but the vets have recommended that's she is fed a special diet in the short term until her gums have completely settled and she is all healed.

Requirements to adopt me

Annual costs of having a cat...

Can you afford a cat?

The cost of owning a cat would be in the region of £360 per year as a rough guide.

  • Can you afford £5 per week for cat food?
  • Can you afford £10 per month for pet insurance? Pet insurance in an essential part of being a pet owner and with a cats lifespan being 16 years upwards you need to be ready for the unexpected – what will you do if your pet develops an illness? Can you find the £150 plus to diagnose the problem? Modern veterinary care means that it is possible to treat serious injuries and illnesses successfully, but such treatment can be complex and very expensive. Vets bills continue to rise and pet insurance will give you the peace of mind that should something happen to your pet, bills will not a problem.
  • Can you afford the vet bills throughout your cat’s life?
  • Can you afford your cat’s annual vaccination booster of around £35 per year?
  • Can you afford to board your cat or arrange for friends or family to look after your cat while you are on holiday?
