Hello, my name is Missy

A little bit about me..

Missy is a dear old 16 year old girl looking for a retirement home after her beloved owner passed away.

Missy is a very friendly affectionate cat who loves lots of fuss and attention making her the idea cuddling companion. Despite her years she is still a very active girl who likes to get out and about so a garden is going to be essential.

Since arriving in our care Missy has had a full MOT to make sure she is in good health, including a dental to clean up her nashers, we are please to say she is in fine fettle and eager to get into a loving home as quickly as she can.

Missy has lived with another cat, so if your considering a pair of cat maybe you could consider Missy and her housemate Rascal. The pair live harmoniously together, neither are keen on other cats though, and neither is desperately dependent on the other so would be fine being homed individually.

Can you afford a cat?

The cost of owning a cat would be in the region of £360 per year as a rough guide.

Pet insurance in an essential part of being a pet owner and with a cats lifespan being 16 years upwards you need to be ready for the unexpected – what will you do if your pet develops an illness? Can you find the £150 plus to diagnose the problem? Modern veterinary care means that it is possible to treat serious injuries and illnesses successfully, but such treatment can be complex and very expensive. Vets bills continue to rise and pet insurance will give you the peace of mind that should something happen to your pet, bills will not a problem.
