Hello, my name is Lelo

Lelo

A little bit about me..

Lelo is a very sweet 2 year old female cat, who has come into our care after we think her owners moved and left her behind.

Lelo is a very friendly affectionate cat, despite coming into our care with other cats she really doesn't seem to like them soi we are looking for a place for her as the only pet.

Lelo is looking for a place with a garden to explore and call her own.

Something that new owners should be aware of but requires no treatment currently is that she does have a heart murmur.

Annual costs of having a cat...

Can you afford a cat?

The cost of owning a cat would be in the region of £360 per year as a rough guide.

  • Can you afford £5 per week for cat food?
  • Can you afford £10 per month for pet insurance? Pet insurance in an essential part of being a pet owner and with a cats lifespan being 16 years upwards you need to be ready for the unexpected – what will you do if your pet develops an illness? Can you find the £150 plus to diagnose the problem? Modern veterinary care means that it is possible to treat serious injuries and illnesses successfully, but such treatment can be complex and very expensive. Vets bills continue to rise and pet insurance will give you the peace of mind that should something happen to your pet, bills will not a problem.
  • Can you afford the vet bills throughout your cat’s life?
  • Can you afford your cat’s annual vaccination booster of around £35 per year?
  • Can you afford to board your cat or arrange for friends or family to look after your cat while you are on holiday?
  • Can you afford regular preventative treatment against fleas and worms?
