Hello, my name is Frankie

A little bit about me..

Frankie is a very lovely 12 yr old neutered male hoping to find a furever home home after his beloved owner passed away.

Frankie is a friendly, affectionate fellow. He is obviously a little unsure of his new surroundings at the moment and can come across as being on the timid side, we are confident that once he gets settled into a loving home once more he will soon be taking over as if he has been there forever.

Frankie is fighting fit, he has had a full MOT and his teeth have been cleaned and polished ready for his new life. He is a smidgen overweight but nothing a few laps of the garden before bed won't fix.

As Frankie is an older gentleman we are looking for a calm home with adult owners, ideally as the only pet so he can have all your attention to himself. He must have a garden to mooch about in and explore.

Requirements to adopt me

Annual costs of having a cat...

Can you afford a cat?

The cost of owning a cat would be in the region of £360 per year as a rough guide.

  • Can you afford £5 per week for cat food?
  • Can you afford £10 per month for pet insurance? Pet insurance in an essential part of being a pet owner and with a cats lifespan being 16 years upwards you need to be ready for the unexpected – what will you do if your pet develops an illness? Can you find the £150 plus to diagnose the problem? Modern veterinary care means that it is possible to treat serious injuries and illnesses successfully, but such treatment can be complex and very expensive. Vets bills continue to rise and pet insurance will give you the peace of mind that should something happen to your pet, bills will not a problem.
  • Can you afford the vet bills throughout your cat’s life?
  • Can you afford your cat’s annual vaccination booster of around £35 per year?
  • Can you afford to board your cat or arrange for friends or family to look after your cat while you are on holiday?
  • Can you afford regular preventative treatment against fleas and worms?
