Hello, my name is Ajax

A little bit about me..

Ajax is our super hero!

he is a 10- 12 year old male cat looking for a home after being found as a stray or possibly abandoned cat. When he was found it was very obvious he had a problem since 1 leg was almost 3 times the size of the other, unfortunately this was due to a large tumor in his knee joint which resulted in the affected limb being amputated.

We are please to announce that the operation was a complete success and after xray of his upper torso no other masses have been discovered. As for Ajax he is getting around brilliantly on his 3 pins and is raring to get settled into a loving forever home.

Ajax is the most friendly, affectionate cat you are likely to meet, he loves people and attention. As soon as he hears your voice he comes racing over to greet you all he needs now is a special person to take him into their lives and give him the pampering he well and truly deserves. Throughout this whole ordeal Ajax has remained loving and affectionate to everyone he meets, even during his stay in hospital he has huge hearts drawn all over his notes - denoting what a lovely boy all the staff thought he was!

Ajax is such a chilled fellow we think he may even accept a home with other cats, he is looking for a place with adult owners and he must have a garden to mooch about in - don't assume he won't be going over fences he manages brilliantly with the ones he has left.

Can you afford a cat?

  • Can you afford £10 per month for pet insurance? Pet insurance in an essential part of being a pet owner and with a cats lifespan being 16 years upwards you need to be ready for the unexpected – what will you do if your pet develops an illness? Can you find the £150 plus to diagnose the problem? Modern veterinary care means that it is possible to treat serious injuries and illnesses successfully, but such treatment can be complex and very expensive. Vets bills continue to rise and pet insurance will give you the peace of mind that should something happen to your pet, bills will not a problem.
